What clearly bereaves this entire attempt of gene screening as futile in this regard is the fact that even if they mange to trace good athletes, they cannot necessarily be good footballers. It takes a lot more doing for a footballer than be just a good athlete. Until and unless that skill level is there, combined with the presence of mind, one cannot become a stand out footballer solely by possessing genes worthy of making someone an exceptional athlete.

Living by the Trivial thoughts, it would be great to see a Christiano Ronaldo in every side but then football assessment would circulate around which Ronaldo played better on the day and why rather than talking about the teams.LOl!
